Rakib from Mymensingh: A Real-World Lesson in Bankroll Management During the BPL Season
Rakib works in the garments industry. Cricket is in his blood. Before BPL even kicked off, he opened an account on nw pk and placed a ৳2,000 bet on his favourite team in the very first match. He won — and that win would later turn into his biggest problem.
He placed the same stake in the second match and won again. By the third, his confidence had grown and he pushed his bet up to five thousand. This time he lost — but Rakib didn't stop. Driven by the need to recover his losses, he placed an even bigger bet in the next match. Within seven matches, nearly 60% of his bankroll was gone.
The Turning Point
Before his eighth match, Rakib visited his betting history page on nw pk and reviewed his full record. The numbers were clear — he lost every time he bet big, and won most of the time when he bet small. He made a decision: each bet would be no more than 5% of his total bankroll.
Rakib stuck to this rule for the remaining seven matches of the season — winning five and losing two. By the end of the season, his total bankroll was up 12% from where he started. Not a massive gain, but he had built real confidence in his own approach. For Rakib, that was the biggest win of all.
